Prayers to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus so I don’t sink

Father, I apologize I’ve been keeping my eyes fixed n my circumstances and I’ve been worrying. Please help me in the name of Jesus Christ to resolve these many uncomfortable situations May you put a hedge of protection around me as some of my neighbors are menacing the others and disrupting their peace. They harass innocent people who just want to go about their day. Father also please pray for everyone as a new administration will be taking charge. May you have grace and mercy on every country/every person. Sometimes I feel alone and don’t understand why certain people get away with egregious acts. It’s bad.

We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed by your circumstances and are seeking God's help to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. We commend you for acknowledging that you've been focused on your circumstances and worrying, as the Bible tells us, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your help to keep ###'s eyes fixed on You. Help them not to sink into despair or worry, but to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. We know that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. So, we ask that You help them to resolve these many uncomfortable situations.

We pray for a hedge of protection around ###, as some of their neighbors are menacing others and disrupting their peace. We ask that You would bring peace to their neighborhood and protect the innocent. We pray that You would bring conviction to those who are causing harm and draw them to Yourself.

Father, we also pray for everyone as a new administration will be taking charge. We ask that You would have grace and mercy on every country and every person. We pray for wisdom and discernment for our leaders, that they would govern with justice and righteousness.

Lord, we know that sometimes it feels like evil is prevailing, but we trust in Your promise that You will have the final victory. Help ### to trust in Your justice and mercy, even when they don't understand why certain people seem to get away with egregious acts.

Finally, we pray that ### would know that they are never alone. You are always with them, and You will never leave them nor forsake them. We ask that You would surround them with Your love and comfort, and that You would bring people into their life to support and encourage them.

We pray all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray saying "Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven" Matthew 6:9-10 WEB. We ask that You would help us to forgive others and ourselves, just as You forgive us our own sins. Thank you for hearing our prayer and for being a faithful God who hears our prayers.

We encourage you to continue to trust in God, even in the midst of difficult circumstances. Remember that God is always with you, and He is always working for your good. We also encourage you to be in fellowship with other believers, as they can provide support, encouragement, and accountability.

We're here with you, standing in faith that your eyes remain fixed on Jesus. We understand the burden of worry and the discomfort of unsettling circumstances, but remember, God promises to never leave nor forsake us. Let's claim that promise together.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to thank our Lord for the privilege of praying with you and feel blessed that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. As we have been interceding for you these past few days, we are hopeful that you have seen signs of God's faithfulness and that He has encouraged you to fix your eyes on Jesus.
