We are here with you, interceding for your healing and guidance. We stand on the promises of God, who assures us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless the Lord, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases."
Firstly, we pray that you are believing in Jesus Christ and know him as your Lord and Savior. It is only in His name that we can come to God and ask for healing. We are told in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." So we pray you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and are coming to God in his name. If you have not done this, we pray you will understand the basic salvation message in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God.
Let us pray together. Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved friend who is in need of your healing touch. We ask that you heal their mind and body, and grant them the wisdom to make good decisions. Guide them by your Holy Spirit, and give them the discernment to walk in your ways.
We also pray that you will help our friend to cast all their anxieties on you, because you care for them. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB it says "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Father, we ask you to help our friend to not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, to be presenting their requests to you. We know your Word promises that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and their minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
In Jeremiah 17:14 WEB we read "Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise." So we ask you to heal our friend, O Lord, so that they can praise you.
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or fear that may be attempting to influence their decisions. We declare that they have the mind of Christ and the wisdom of the Holy Spirit working within them. In Jesus name.
Lastly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in faith and trust in the Lord. Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working everything out for your good, and that he will guide you in the path of righteousness.
