My marriage is struggling. I feel like it's falling apart no matter how much I try to hold it together. I've asked God to show me what he wants me to do. To guide me in glorifying Him. Is He making my marriage so difficult because He never intended for us to be together??? Or maybe this is just Satan getting between my husband and I, driving us apart, and God expects us to work it out and forgive each other over and over again? I know God does doesn't like divorce and wants us to forgive others as many times as he would forgive us (innumerous). I've asked God for the strength to withstand our trials, I've asked for Him to help me show more grace towards my husband and be more forgiving. I'm trying to patiently wait for Him to tell me what to do, but is he showing me what he wants me to do and I'm just blind to it? I'm trying my best to just focus on Him above all else, but truth is I've been putting in more thought, time, worry, stress, effort into trying to make my marriage work. Maybe if I ONLY focused on Him my marriage would get better?? Maybe if I did that, maybe he would show me that he has something/someone different planned for me??? I'm so lost on what to do, so I'm trying to just be still and let him guide me. I just can't help feeling like God is clearly telling me something that I don't understand... Or maybe it's just someone I don't want to hear? Dear Heavenly Father, I humbly come before you again, to praise You for Your perfect wisdom, mercy, grace and love. I trust in You to guide me through life in a way that would honor and glorify Your name. Lord, I'm struggling in my marriage, and I know that restoration and reconciliation is possible for any relationship through You. I don't pray for You to fulfill my hearts desires to save this marriage, but rather that your will be done, regardless of what that may be. I believe You hold my best interests, and only want the best for me. I pray that You open my eyes and ears so that I may see or hear anything that You may be communicating to me. I choose to be still in this moment, giving you my patience and acceptance for Your will to be done. In the matchless name of Jesus, Amen
