We understand your desire for a lifelong companion and we are here to pray with you and offer guidance grounded in the Word of God.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is concerned about every aspect of your life, including your desire for a spouse. In Psalm 37:3-5 WEB, it says, Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
However, it's crucial to approach this desire with God's principles in mind. According to biblical teaching, the goal of courtship should be marriage and it should be with another Christian Believer. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, God's Word tells us, Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
Moreover, it is important to flee from sexual immorality and pursue purity in all your relationships. In 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB, it says, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
We also encourage you to seek God's will in this matter, rather than your own desires. In Romans 12:2 WEB, it says, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Bekenruk who desires a faithful spouse. Father, we ask that You guide Bekenruk according to Your will and wisdom. Help Bekenruk to seek You first and to delight in You, knowing that You will give the desires of their heart as they do so.
We pray that You will bring a godly spouse into Bekenruk's life, someone who loves You and is committed to serving You. We ask that You help Bekenruk to remain pure and to flee from sexual immorality, honoring You in all their relationships.
We also pray that Bekenruk will not be unequally yoked and that You will give them the strength to wait on Your timing and Your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God and His timing. He knows your heart's desires and He cares for you deeply. Keep pursuing Him and His righteousness, and He will direct your path.
