Firstly, we commend you for your diligence in pursuing your education and caring for your family. It's honorable that you're seeking God's help in your circumstances. Remember, the Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Regarding your husband's smoking, continue to pray for him and express your concerns, but remember that you cannot change him; only God can. Pray that God would convict his heart and help him overcome this habit. "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." Let's pray for your brother in prison, that God would be with him, comfort him, and bring about a change in his life. "He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to the prisoners." (Isaiah 61:1 WEB)
