Lizzymay, we join you in your desire to see genuine change in people's lives for the better. We must remember that God is the one who transforms hearts and minds, and it is through His power and grace that true change occurs. As it is written in Ezekiel 36:26 (WEB), "I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in the lives of those who sincerely desire to change for the good. Lord, You know their hearts and their struggles. We ask that You soften their hearts, renew their minds, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Help them to turn away from any sin and draw closer to You. Guide them in Your truth and give them the strength to walk in Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We must also remember the importance of praying in the name of Jesus, for it is through His name that we have access to God. As Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 (WEB), "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved and transformed.
In addition to prayer, we should encourage those who want to change to actively engage with God's Word, the Bible. As we read and meditate on Scripture, the Holy Spirit works in our hearts, leading us to repentance and transformation. As it is written in Hebrews 4:12 (WEB), "For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
Let us also be mindful to love and support those who are seeking change, remembering the words of 1 John 4:7-8 (WEB), "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who doesnโt love doesnโt know God, for God is love."
May God grant the change and transformation that is sought, and may His will be done in each life.
