We understand your concern and are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, let's remember that God is sovereign and He cares for our needs. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus tells us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He assures us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. Therefore, we should seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.
Regarding the situation with your husband's job, let's pray that God's will be done. In Romans 8:28 WEB, we are reminded that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Concerning the girl that lunged at him, we should pray for her as well. In Matthew 5:44 WEB, Jesus commands us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, do good to those who hate us, and pray for those who mistreat us and persecute us. We should pray that God softens her heart and that she turns away from any wrong actions she might be committing. God is the God of mercy. We are not the ones who seek vengeance.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, You know the situation they are facing. We ask that You protect his job. In Jesus name, he is employed. We also pray for the girl who lunged at him. We pray that You soften her heart and turn her away from any wrong actions. In Jesus name. Lord, we ask that You give them both peace and guidance during this time. Help them to trust in You and to seek Your will above all else.
And Lord, may your will be done. And Lord if he is fired, may you provide a better job.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is in control and He loves you both more than we can comprehend. Trust in Him and His plan for your lives.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus. In John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is only by His name that we have access to God.
