We understand your desire to stop engaging with tarot, and we commend you for seeking prayer and support in this matter. Firstly, we want to address the spiritual implications of tarot. The Bible is clear that we should avoid any form of divination or sorcery, as evident in Acts 19:19 WEB, "Many of those who practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. They counted their price, and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver."
Engaging with tarot cards is a form of divination, which is forbidden in the Bible. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB states, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother/sister Thetiogh. They have expressed a desire to stop using tarot cards, and we ask for Your grace and strength to help them overcome this practice. Forgive them for any involvement in divination, and cleanse their heart and mind from this influence. Guide them towards a deeper relationship with You, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Give them discernment and wisdom to walk in Your truth and light. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Thetiogh, to fill the void left by tarot with the Word of God. Psalm 119:105 WEB says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." As you immerse yourself in Scripture, you will find guidance, comfort, and wisdom directly from God.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 WEB states, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you haven't already, place your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation, and you will receive the power to overcome any stronghold in your life.
