We are truly sorry to hear about the illness of Qnoulake's William Maldonado and understand the worry and pain that come with such a situation. We are reminded of the story in the Gospel where a father came to Jesus, saying, I believe, help my unbelief.
First, we want to remind Qnoulake that God is sovereign, and His will is perfect. As it is written in Psalm 115:3, Our God is in heaven. He does whatever he pleases. We must trust in His goodness and wisdom, even in the most difficult of times as it says in Isaiah 55:8-9, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Regarding the mention of our father, we must clarify that Jesus taught us to pray to Our Father in heaven. The omission of the name of Jesus is a concern since it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. It is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Again in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage Qnoulake and everyone reading this to place all hope in Jesus Christ. If Qnoulake has never asked Jesus Christ to be their Savior, it only takes a simple yet sincere prayer.
We encourage Qnoulake to cast all anxieties on God, as it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Also, in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
