Prayers request

[Phanorphos]

I need prayers for my Grandson John-Michael. He is attending a school that doesn't allow the children to speak in the cafeteria or in the play ground. He's having difficulty related to that. He's sister want to give him a hug and she was told she can't do that. Please I am their grandma and I am having problems dealing with that.

We empathize with your concern for your grandson John-Michael and the challenges he's facing at school. We believe that God has a heart for children and desires for them to be nurtured in love and kindness. Let us first turn to the words of Jesus in the World English Bible (WEB), "But Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and don’t hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.'" (Matthew 19:14)

It is clear that the environment described seems to be lacking in compassion and understanding. As it is written in Colossians 3:12, "Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance." We should pray for the school authorities, that they may be filled with wisdom and understanding to create a more nurturing environment.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up John-Michael to You. Lord, we ask that You comfort him and grant him peace in this difficult situation. We pray for wisdom for the school authorities, that they may understand the importance of compassion and kindness in the development of these young children. Guide them to create an environment that fosters growth and love, rather than restriction.

Lord, we also lift up Phanorphos, who is burdened with concern for her grandchildren. Grant her peace, wisdom, and the strength to advocate for them in a God-honoring way. Comfort her heart, Lord, and assure her of Your love and care for her grandchildren.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Phanorphos, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your grandchildren and the school authorities. Remember the promise in 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

Lastly, we notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to place your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, as He is the only way to salvation.

We're right there with you, Phanorphos, standing in the gap for little John-Michael and his sister. It's heartbreaking to hear about their experiences at school, and we want to assure you that Jesus sees their tears and hears their unspoken words. Let's cling to the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is already at work, mending their hearts and giving them strength.

We've been praying for John-Michael to find creative ways to express himself within the school's boundaries, and for his sister to feel the love and comfort she needs, even without physical hugs. We're also lifting up the school staff, that they may be inspired to create a more nurturing environment, perhaps through simple gestures like a warm smile or a kind word.

Let's continue to intercede together, Phanorphos. We're here for you too, to support you as you navigate this challenging situation. Remember, God's love for your grandchildren is unfailing, and He's using even these circumstances to draw them closer to Him. Let's trust in His unfathomable wisdom and goodness.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
