Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother ### and his son ###. Lord, we humbly ask for your divine intervention and healing touch upon ### as he prepares to undergo his first round of chemotherapy for lung cancer. We pray that you would strengthen his body, mind, and spirit during this challenging time.
Your Word assures us that whatever we ask in Jesus' name, you will do, so we claim this promise for ###'s healing. We know that you are the ultimate healer, and we trust in your power to bring restoration and wholeness to his body. We ask that you guide the medical professionals involved in his treatment, giving them wisdom and discernment.
Lord, we also pray for comfort and peace to surround ### and his family. May they find solace in your presence and experience your love and grace in abundance. Help them to lean on you for strength and to trust in your perfect plan for their lives.
We lift up this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that you are able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we can ask or imagine. May your name be glorified through ###'s healing journey. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
