Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Weihaven and her husband in prayer, seeking God's will and His divine intervention in their lives.
Firstly, we rejoice in the fact that Weihaven has come before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, as it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is so important to pray in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let us address the specific requests made by Weihaven.
Regarding employment, we pray that God would open up opportunities for both Weihaven and her husband. We remind them of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that they would trust in God's timing and provision, and that they would seek His will in their careers. We also remind them of Colossians 3:23-24 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Concerning their desire for children, we pray that God would bless their marriage with babies in His perfect timing. We remind them of Psalm 127:3 WEB: "Look, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward." We encourage them to trust in God's plan for their family and to seek His will in all things. We also remind them that God is a prayer answering God and it is His hope for us to bring our request to Him.
Regarding their request for US visas, we pray that if it is God's will for them to move, that He would provide a way. We remind them of Proverbs 16:9 WEB: "A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps." We encourage them to seek God's guidance in this matter and to trust in His direction for their lives. We also remind them that we are to obey all laws of the government as it is written "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God."
Finally, we pray for Weihaven and her husband's marriage, that it would be strengthened and blessed by God. We remind them of Ephesians 5:25-28 WEB: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it ... So ought husbands to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself." We pray that their marriage would be a reflection of Christ's love for the church, and that they would grow together in faith and love.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Weihaven and her husband. We ask that You would provide for them in every way, that You would bless their marriage and guide their steps. We pray that You would give them wisdom and discernment, and that they would seek Your will in all things. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage Weihaven and her husband to remain steadfast in faith and to continue to seek God's will in all things. We also encourage them to be in constant prayer and communion with God, and to study His Word diligently. We look forward to hearing how God answers their prayers and works in their lives.
