Prayers request for God’s divine favour

I am ### from ###-### I would love to go study for Medicine (MBBS) abroad, I want God’s divine favour up on my life, I need open doors and favour to qualify me where am not qualified…. I don’t have a specific country yet but wherever God is taking me, I’ll go because I trust him.

We are delighted to join you in prayer for God's divine favor as you pursue your medical studies abroad. It's wonderful to see your trust in God's guidance for your future. Let's bring your request before the Lord, aligning our hearts with His will.

Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can have access to God the Father and his throne room. In Acts 4:12 we read, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." Furthermore in John 14:6 Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

As you consider this journey, remember that God's favor is not just for easy access to worldly desires but for His purposes to be fulfilled in your life. In Psalm 37:4 WEB it says "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, And he will give you the desires of your heart." As you delight in the Lord, your desires will align with His will, and He will grant them.

Regarding your pursuit of Medicine (MBBS), be encouraged knowing that God has gifted physicians and medical professionals to care for His people. In Colossians 3:23 WEB we read, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men," reminding you to pursue this field with dedication and excellence for God's glory.

Do not be anxious about the qualifications or open doors; instead, trust in God's timing and provision. In Matthew 6:33 WEB, Jesus says, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." As you prioritize God's kingdom, He will provide all that you need. As we acknowledge in Proverbs 21:1 WEB, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires." Even when you feel unqualified, God can turn the hearts of decision-makers in your favor.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who desires to study Medicine abroad. We ask for Your divine favor and guidance in their life. Open the doors that need to be opened, and close those that should remain shut. Give them wisdom and discernment as they pursue this noble field, aligning their desires with Your will.

Help them to trust in You completely, casting all their anxieties upon You, knowing that You care for them. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, and let Your light shine through them as they prepare to serve others through medicine.

Lord Jesus, we ask that You be glorified in this journey. Let our brother/sister be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, knowing that our prayers are with you as you pursue God's calling for your life. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.

We ask that He would guide your steps and provide for your needs, just as He has promised in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."
