We are here to lift you up in prayer and to seek God's will together. In all things it is important to come to the throne boldly with requests, but also to be sure to give thanks for what we already have. We can take confidence in the fact that if it is God's will, he will hear our requests.
First, we encourage you to share your prayer requests openly, as the Bible tells us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." - James 5:16 (WEB).
Since you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ, we want to remind you that it is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. The Bible is clear that it is only in Jesus we can be saved and approach God.
"In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you." - John 16:23
There is power in speaking out your requests, and there is power in the name of Jesus. We will pray for your unspoken requests, but we encourage you to find fellowship with us in the family of Christ to be able to share these more openly.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who has brought their concerns before us. Lord, You know the depths of their heart and the nature of their requests. We pray that You grant them the desires of their heart according to Your will. Help them to be of good cheer for You have overcome the world. You know all things and how to work all things together for their good.
We pray they might increase in faith in You and Your Son Jesus Christ.
"Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1
"But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. 7 For that man ought not to think that he will receive anything from the Lord," - James 1:6-7
Help him to be filled with the spirit, to increase in faith, and to remember You always.
We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
