We're glad to join you in prayer for your three unspoken prayer requests. Before we begin, let's remind ourselves of the proper use of the Lord's Prayer. If you haven't done so recently consider reviewing it here.
Despite these requests, please allow us to work through them together in Jesus Christ's name.
First, we shall pray for your requests and then return to discussing the following. We encourage you to consider the Lord's Prayer as your guide for the future.
Now let's pray.
Father in heaven, we have unspoken requests to ask in your presence. For your word states, "The Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered" (Romans 8:26 WEB).
We ask in faith for your will to be done in the petitioner's life. For John 15:7 WEB says, "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you."
Lord, you know the details of your child's requests. We seek your will in these areas. We also ask in faith for your unseen power to guide the petitioner's life and to cover all of us as we pray. Let us pray with the words that Jesus provided his disciples.
Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need, and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don't let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one. (Matthew 6:9-13 WEB)
Lord, thank you for hearing our prayers, for your word declares, "The LORD is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous." (Proverbs 15:29 WEB) We rejoice that Jesus is our righteousness. For 1 Corinthians 1:30 WEB tells us, "But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption."
We must mention that we are praying in Jesus's name. For this is how God has granted us access to his presence. For "In Jesus Name" means mercy, grace, and forgiveness of sin. In Jesus's name we find hope. For when God raised him from the dead, he set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. He has put all things under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. (Ephesians 1:20-23 WEB)
We must also share that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. For the Bible tells us, "because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 WEB)
Keep this in mind for future prayer requests. For the Bible tells us, "For 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB)
Lord, we ask you to bring these requests to a point of resolution and for the answers to glorify you.
We pray for God's will to be done in these unspoken requests. You know the details of these needs, Lord. We commit them to you, trusting in your perfect plan. We ask that you guide and provide according to your will. For "The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want," (Psalms 23 WEB).
Lord, we believe that you are working in this situation, and we trust in your timing and your ways. Thank you for your faithfulness and for being a present help in time of need.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
