We are here to lift you up in prayer and to seek God's will together. In all things that we pray for each other, we are to keep the Lord Jesus Christ as our focus. In fact, it is by His name that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. It is also by His name that we are saved as we read in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. If we do not ask the Father for things in His name, then we are not approaching Him in the proper manner. Jesus made this clear in John 16:23, In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. If you have submitted prayer requests in the past or if you submit them in the future, please make sure to do so in Jesus' name.
While we may not know the details of your six unspoken prayer requests, we know that God does, and we can trust Him with them. We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7. Let's pray together in Jesus Name:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who has six unspoken prayer requests. You, Lord, know the details of each one. We pray that You will work in each situation, bringing Your will and Your glory. Give our brother the strength and faith to trust in You, knowing that You are faithful and that You have a plan for each of these requests. Help him to approach You with thanksgiving, presenting his requests to You with praise and worship as described in Philippians 4:6. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
The next time you submit a prayer request, write them out. Writing out our prayers is actually a good thing to do. When we write out our prayers, we are able to keep track of what we have prayed. This is important because God answers prayers, sometimes quickly and other times over longer periods of time. As we see prayers answered, we are reminded of God's faithfulness and goodness. We are also encouraged to continue to pray and to trust in God.
