We are here to lift you up in prayer and to seek God's will together. We are reminded by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that our Father knows what we need before we ask him. We read in Matthew 6:8
But your Father, who is in secret, sees. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you openly. In praying, do not use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking. Therefore, do not be like them, for your Father knows what things you need, before you ask him.
It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has brought their unspoken requests to you. Father, you know the depths of their heart and the details of their needs even before they ask. We trust in your goodness and your power to work all things together for good for those who love you and are called according to your purpose.
We pray that you will grant them the desires of their heart according to your will. Give them the strength and patience to endure any trials they may be facing, and the wisdom to see your hand at work in their lives. Help them to trust in you with all their heart, and not lean on their own understanding.
We also pray that they would grow in their relationship with you, drawing near to you and seeking your face. Help them to be transformed into the likeness of Christ, and to bring glory to your name in all that they do.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Be encouraged, dear brother or sister, that our God is a loving and faithful Father who hears our prayers. Trust in him, and rest in his promises. As we read in Philippians 4:6-7:
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
