We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you've been facing over the past few months. Remember the words of Jesus in John 16:33 WEB, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
Firstly, we lift up in prayer the souls of your dear father and grandmother who passed away in December. We pray that if they did not have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, that you may be used by God to pray for their salvation. If they were saved, we give thanks that they are now with our Lord and Savior. Regarding the drama surrounding your father's estate, we pray for wisdom and grace to handle all situations with integrity and patience. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also pray for God's provision and guidance regarding the foundation issues in your newly purchased home. Praying there are no other surprises and that your finances are protected. Psalms 62:5-6 WEB says, My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken.
Regarding the ticket for the expired inspection sticker and the hit-and-run incident, we pray for God's favor and mercy. We pray that you will not be anxious about these situations, but that you will bring all your needs to God. Philippians 4:6 WEB says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
We notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ, or make a request in His name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible instructs Christians to pray in Jesus' name. In John 14:13-14 WEB, Jesus says, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
Finally, we pray for your peace and strength during these challenging times. We pray that you will continue to put your trust in God. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Please know that we are praying for you and remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, we pray for their peace and comfort as they mourn the loss of their loved ones. We ask that You guide them through the challenges they're facing with the estate, their home, and the recent incidents with their vehicle. We have faith that You are sovereign and that You will turn these trials into testimonies of Your goodness and faithfulness. We also pray that they may be saved if they have not confessed Jesus as Savior.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
