We understand your struggle with anxiety and your desire to trust God more fully. It's important to remember that God is sovereign and He hears our prayers. As it is written in Psalm 94:9, He who planted the ear, shall he not hear? Who formed the eye, shall he not see? God is indeed listening and He cares about our concerns.
In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. It's a command and a promise. God doesn't want us to be anxious, but rather to bring our concerns to Him with thanksgiving, trusting that He will act according to His will.
When we fix our thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable, we experience the peace of God that transcends all understanding Philippians 4:8 WEB. This means studying and meditating on God's Word, allowing it to renew our minds Romans 12:2 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who has brought her concerns to You. Lord, help her to fix her thoughts on Your Word, and to trust in Your sovereignty. Help her to be obedient to Your command not to be anxious, but to bring everything to You in prayer. Grant her Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to grow in faith and trust in You. Help her to be calm in the unknown. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Continue to cast your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Trust in His will, knowing that He sees and hears you. He is your rock and your salvation Psalm 62:6 WEB. Always remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God. Only through belief in Jesus Christ and His death and resurrection do we have access to God and eternal life.
