We are here to lift you up in prayer and to seek God's will together. First, we would like to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. For it is written, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:13-14 WEB.
We encourage you to speak out your prayer requests if you feel comfortable doing so. It's only mentioned here to ask if we are praying for something against God's will. We will pray for God's will regardless.
In the meantime, we pray this for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in Christ. We pray for your will to be done in his life, and for your guidance and wisdom to be upon him. We ask that you reveal to him your perfect will for his unspoken requests. Give him the strength and faith to trust in you, knowing that you are a good Father who loves to give good gifts to your children. Help them to remember to pray for your will in all requests.
Father, we also pray for his spiritual growth and discernment. May he continue growing closer to you, becoming more like Jesus every day. We ask that you surround him with a community of believers who will support, encourage, and challenge him in his faith.
We ask this all in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful and he cares for you. "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
Trust in him, and know that he is working all things together for your good because you love him and you are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.
If any of your requests involve relationships, remember to keep God at the center and to seek his will. We encourage you to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles, fleeing from sexual immorality, and pursuing godly marriages that honor God. For it is written, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB.
If your request is about anything not aligned to God's will or if you are not sure if it is God's will, it is very important to pray for God's will. This is necessary for God to hear us. "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me" Psalms 66:18 WEB.
Lastly, make sure to counter any worries or concerns with God's promises. "Don't be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 WEB.
