We are here to lift you up in prayer and to seek God's will together. While we understand that your requests are unspoken, we know that God hears the cries of our hearts even when words are not expressed. It is important to remember that our requests need to be presented to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
First, we need to explain the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ. The scripture tells us, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. (John 3:16-17 WEB) To be saved, we must believe in Jesus, repent, and be baptized.
In all things, let us take our requests to the Lord and trust in His goodness and faithfulness. We strive for understanding of His will in all situations and relationships. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother or sister in Christ who has submitted these unspoken requests. Lord, You know the depths of their heart and the needs they have. We pray that You will grant them the desires of their heart according to Your will. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You are a good and faithful God.
If there is any area where they may not be aligning with Your Word, reveal it to them, Lord. Guide them in Your truth and help them to walk in Your ways. If their requests involve relationships, guide them according to Your principles and sanctity of marriage.
We also pray that they will put their full trust in the name of Jesus Christ. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
