We are here to lift you up in prayer and to seek God's will together. First, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12.
We would also encourage you to share your prayer requests openly, as the Bible tells us in James 5:16 WEB, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." However, we understand that there may be sensitive issues that need to remain unspoken. God knows your heart and the desires of it. Romans 8:26-27.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. Lord, You know the depths of their heart and the unspoken requests they bring before You today. We ask that You grant them the desires of their heart according to Your will.
Lord God, help them to trust in You with all their heart, and lean not on their own understanding. May they acknowledge You in all their ways, knowing that You will make their paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6.
Father, we also pray that they will have no anxiety about anything; but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, they will present their requests to You. And may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
As a final encouragement, remember Psalm 37:4 WEB, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Trust in Him, and may His will be done in your life and in the lives of those you are praying for.
