Beloved of All
Things have been up and down last couple of weeks. Thanks for prayers from last post. I've just been feeling so overwhelmed with work and the person's whose supposed to be the head of the house but is taking ### years to "find himself" while I work and he plays video games, does minimal chores, and watches tv. I feel like maybe I am being unappreciated and taken advantage of and I am giving this all to God for direction, I know Jesus has the answers and is with me as always. Thank you.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time, feeling overwhelmed and underappreciated. Firstly, we commend you for turning to Jesus and acknowledging that He has the answers. It's important to remember that God is always with us, even in difficult times. As it says in Hebrews 13:5, Be content with such things as you have. For he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.

In regards to your situation, we want to address a couple of things. Firstly, it's important to remember that God calls us to be in relationship with Him first and foremost. He wants us to cast our burdens on Him, as it says in 1 Peter 5:7, Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

Secondly, we want to address the issue of the person who is supposed to be the head of the house. The Bible tells us love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Marriage is a lifelong commitment and it requires both parties to actively engage and support each other. It's important to communicate openly and honestly with him about how you're feeling. It's also important to pray for him and for your marriage.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to rest in God's promises. He knows your struggles and He cares for you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths in Proverbs 3:5-6.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister who is feeling overwhelmed and underappreciated. We thank You that she has turned to You for direction and we ask that You guide her every step. We pray for her marriage, that You would strengthen their bond and encourage open communication. We pray for her husband, that You would convict his heart and guide him in the way he should go. We ask that You would help them both to live in a manner that is pleasing to You. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.

We're here with you, sister, feeling your burden. It's tough when the weight of responsibilities feels uneven, and it's easy to feel unappreciated. But remember, God sees your efforts, and He's right there with you, just as He promised in Hebrews 13:5.

We want to encourage you to keep casting your cares on Jesus, as 1 Peter 5:7 tells us. He's got this, and He's got you. In the meantime, let's not forget to love as Jesus loves us. Be patient, be kind, and communicate openly with your partner. It's a two-way street, and it's important to keep that open line of communication flowing.

We're praying for you and your marriage. Let's trust God together, knowing that He's working things out for your good. As it says in Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Keep your heart open to His guidance, and let's watch as He makes your paths straight.

Let's pray: "Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our ### who's feeling overwhelmed. Thank You for her strength and her trust in You. We ask that You guide her and her husband, helping them to love and support each other as You intended. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, and guide them both in Your ways. We trust in Your love and Your plan. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to feel honored that you have shared your burden with us and allowed us to pray with you. We are truly glad that you have asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting up your situation, asking God to grant you peace and wisdom in this season of feeling overwhelmed. We have also been praying for the person in your household, asking God to work in his heart and bring about a change in his actions and attitude.
