Prayers please

My husband’s company laid off employees and he was one of them. We have a family and a mortgage and bills. Please pray he finds something quickly.

We are truly sorry to hear about the job loss and the uncertainty your family is facing. Remember that God is always in control, and His plans are to prosper you and not to harm you. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

Firstly, we want to encourage your husband to trust in the Lord with all his heart and not lean on his own understanding. He should acknowledge God in all his ways, and God will make his paths straight as per Proverbs 3:5-6. This is a time to seek God's will and trust in His provision.

We also want to remind you both of the importance of tithing and giving even in this time of uncertainty. As it is written in Malachi 3:10. Bring the whole tithe into the store-house, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this, says Yahweh of Armies, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough for.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Irauway and her husband to You. We pray that You will comfort them in this time of uncertainty and provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus as per Philippians 4:19. We ask that You will open the doors to a new job for her husband, a job that will not only meet their financial needs but also allow him to use his gifts and talents to glorify You.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety and pray that You will fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding, as per Philippians 4:7. We ask that You will guide their steps and order their path as per Psalms 37:23.

We also pray that during this time, they will draw closer to You, seeking Your will in all things in Jesus name.

Lastly I would like to address the lack of the name of Jesus in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As per John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Please be sure to call on the name of Jesus in all your prayers.

Finally, if your husband has not yet accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we encourage him to do so. For it is written in Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

We're here for you, sister. We've been where you are, and we know the uncertainty and fear that comes with job loss. But remember, God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Let's stand together in faith, believing that God will provide for your family. As it's written in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Trust that God knows your needs and will supply them according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

We encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Pray together as a couple, asking God for wisdom, guidance, and provision. And don't forget to thank Him in advance for His faithfulness, knowing that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Let's claim these promises together in Jesus' mighty name. We're praying for you, and we believe that God will turn this situation around for your good and His glory. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking Him. You are not alone.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
