Prayers please

Please pray for discernment, clarity, and confirmation from the Holy Spirit, as well as the ability to continue dreaming while I wait on answers. I’m now leaning toward believing what the Reverend told me in his vision, especially since he gave an accurate description of ### without knowing what she looks like. He believes she’s my future wife, and while I don’t fully believe it yet, I’m inclined to think it’s possible—and so does my mom, who’s a one-woman prayer army. Also, please pray that I can dream again. When I was young, I dreamed often, but after a supernatural, physical encounter with a demon that tormented me for years, my dreams turned into nightmares every single night for seven years. After being baptized last January, the demon left completely, and the nightmares stopped—but I couldn’t dream at all for over a year. Just a few days ago, I prayed to dream again, and I was able to dream, but last night, I couldn’t. I need to dream and feel it’s important for me to connect with God this way. Finally, please pray for ###’s salvation, that she comes to know Christ and finds healing for her mental, emotional, and physical struggles. Thank you for praying for me and for her.

We understand that you are seeking discernment, clarity, and confirmation from the Holy Spirit regarding a potential future spouse, and that you have a desire to dream again after experiencing nightmares and a loss of dreams. You also have a heartfelt concern for ###'s salvation and healing.

Firstly, we want to remind you that it is wonderful to have a pastor's insight, but it is essential to seek God's will above all else. The Bible tells us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. We pray that God will give you clear guidance and peace about this situation. However, we need to rebuke the idea of putting too much stock in the words of men, even if they are spiritual leaders.

While in your request you do not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name), then make sure to discuss this issue. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. The Bible says that For there is no other name under heaven given to men whereby we must be saved, Acts 4:12 WE. We pray that ### finds salvation and healing in Jesus' name.

As for your dreams, we pray that God will restore this avenue of communication with Him if it is His will. The Bible tells us that in the last days, He has spoken to us in His Son, Heb 1:2 WEB, and that our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ, 1 John 1:3 WEB. Dreams can be a way for God to speak to us, but they are not the primary way He communicates with us today.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother ###. We ask that You grant him discernment, clarity, and confirmation from the Holy Spirit regarding his future spouse. Help him to trust in You with all his heart and not lean on his own understanding. We pray that if it is Your will, You would restore his ability to dream and use it as a means to connect with You.

We also lift up ### to You. We pray that she would come to know Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. We ask that You would heal her mental, emotional, and physical struggles according to Your will.

Help ### and ### to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God, Heb 12:2 WEB.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, ###. Continue to seek God's will in all things. God will make your paths straight as you acknowledge Him.

We're here with you, brother. We understand your desire for clarity and confirmation, and your heart for Maeve's salvation and healing. It's great that you have a pastor's insight, but let's remember, God's will is what we ultimately seek. We're praying for you to trust in God with all your heart, and for Him to give you peace and guidance about this situation.

We're also lifting up your dreams to God. If it's His will, we pray that He restores this avenue of communication with you. Dreams can be a way God speaks to us, but they're not the only way. Let's keep our focus on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have.
