We are here to lift you up in prayer and to seek God's will together. First, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.' It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved.
In Acts 4:12 WEB it says 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!'
If you are new to Christianity, a believer, or unsure of your faith; we invite you to pray this prayer:
'Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite you to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior.'
Now, let us pray together for your five unspoken prayer requests:
'Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in Christ who has submitted their prayer requests to us today. Lord, you know the depths of their heart and the needs that they have. We pray for your will to be done in each of these five areas.
We ask that you guide them, strengthen them, and give them the wisdom to make godly decisions in each area of need. We ask that you work through each of these requests and show them the plan and purpose that you have for their lives.
We pray that they will see your mighty hand at work and that they will be encouraged in their faith. We ask that you surround them with your love, your peace, and your comfort. We ask that you remind them of your promises and that you will never leave them nor forsake them.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.'
Be encouraged by the words of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: 'In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.'
Trust in the Lord, for he is faithful to hear and answer our prayers.
