We're here with you, standing in the gap with our prayers. We've been thinking about your unspoken requests and wanted to share a verse that's been on our hearts. In Philippians 4:6-7, it says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Let's pray together, shall we? Heavenly Father, we come to You today, laying these three unspoken requests at Your feet. We trust that You see the burden our friend is carrying, and we ask that You would be their refuge and strength, a very present help in this time of need (Psalm 46:1).
For the first request, Lord, we ask that You would grant our friend clarity and wisdom. Help them to discern Your will and to make decisions that honor You. We trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
For the second request, Father, we ask that You would provide comfort and peace. We pray that our friend would feel Your loving arms around them, and that they would find solace in Your presence. We trust that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
For the third request, Lord, we ask that You would grant our friend courage and boldness. We pray that they would stand firm in their faith and that You would be glorified in their life. We trust that with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
In all these things, Lord, we ask that You would draw our friend closer to You. Help them to grow in their relationship with You and to become more like Jesus. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
