We are glad to pray with you and encourage you in your walk of faith today.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable if anything is excellent or praiseworthy think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it." Philippians 4:6-10
We can cast our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. As you have not explicitly shared your requests nor mentioned the name of Jesus, let us take a moment to address these.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We lift up our brother or sister in Christ who has come to us today with unspoken requests. Lord, You know the depths of their heart and the details of each situation. We pray that You will work in their life, granting them Your peace, wisdom, and guidance. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that Your ways are higher than our ways and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts.
Father, we also pray that they will have a true encounter with the name of Jesus. For you have greatly exalted Jesus and given him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of you, God the Father.'
We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will in all things, trusting that He is working everything out for your good and His glory. We encourage you to meditate on God's Word and respond to him only in prayer by the name of Jesus Christ if you desire a closer walk with the Lord and expect to receive anything from him. Be patient and let God's grace continue growing you as a Christian believer.
'Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying if you hold anything against anyone forgive them so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.' This does not mean you will receive anything you ask for. Rather, every request, good or bad, will be received by the Lord. Any answer will be according to His will and not yours. As you grow in your faith and relationship with Jesus, you will discover what is good to ask for and what should be surrendered to God.
