We are here to lift you up in prayer and encourage you in your walk with the Lord. While you have not specified your prayer requests, we trust that God knows the deepest desires of your heart. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach the Lord in prayer (John 14:13): “Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”
First, we want to encourage you to bring all your requests to God, as He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7): “Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” Remember that God knows your every need, even when it is unspoken (Matthew 6:8): “Therefore don't be like them, for your Father knows what things you need, before you ask him.”
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother or sister in Christ. Lord, You know the depths of their heart and the unspoken requests they have. We ask that You grant them the desires of their heart according to Your will. Give them the peace that surpasses all understanding, and help them to trust in You completely.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7: “In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.”
If any of your unspoken prayers involve relationships, remember to align them with biblical principles. God designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. (Genesis 2:21-24): “Yahweh God caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. He made a woman from the rib which had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. The man said, 'This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called 'woman,' because she was taken out of Man.' Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh”
If any of your requests involve struggles with sin, remember that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). If there is any issue of fornication, listen to the words of 1 Corinthians 6:18 “Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.” Also 1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”
Trust in God, and He will direct your paths. Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, and know that it is only through Him that we are saved! Acts 4:12 “There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
