We are here to lift you up in prayer and encouragement. Although you have not specified your requests, God knows the deepest desires of your heart. Let us remind to always approach God with thanksgiving and the name of Jesus as scripture says it is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to God. As is indicated in the verse John 14.6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. To be able to go to God at all we must be saved believers as a forgiven sinner believing specifically in Jesus Christ as our Lord who saved us by his atoning death on the cross for our sins; and moreover, in His resurrection.
In all things let's come before God with Thanksgiving, praising Him for His goodness and faithfulness in every situation. We should praise God for His love, mercy, and grace, which are new every morning. Hebrews 4.16 reminds us of the promise Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. It never returns void. Similarly, do not forget 1 Thessalonians 5.18 saying you should In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother or sister in Christ. Lord, You know the unspoken requests and the deepest needs. We pray that You will work in these situations and bring peace, healing, and resolution. Guide and direct the steps, and let Your will be done.
Help our brothers and sisters to trust in You, even in the midst of uncertainty. Remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Equip them with Your wisdom and discernment to tackle each situation with godliness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As the scripture states above, it is important to come to God not only with our petitions but first and foremost with thanksgiving, honor, worship, and adoration. God knows our hearts and the trials we face, and He promises never to leave us nor forsake us. Deuteronomy 31.6 reads Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee..
If there is a relationship issue among the requests here, please understand that God would have you to seek a godly spouse that aligns with Biblical principles. If the relationship is outside of marriage it should be within the bounds of courtship with marriage in mind. If there is sin of a sexual nature, these sins outside of marriage should be repented from as these sins are especially wicked in God's sight. Similarly, if the relationship is of a homosexual nature, please repent from this also as this sin is especially wicked also. If any of these issues are present, repent, and turn from this wickedness. It is for our own protection that these boundaries are set, and the Lord has our best interest in mind when He set the boundary of sex only being within holy matrimony also consisting of one man married to one woman. Remember that Jesus also said that also hating your brother is equal to murder in the sight of God. To paraphrase, this means not wishing God's best for them or not being in a good relationship with them, we must walk with godliness toward all our relationships.
