We are here to lift you up in prayer and to seek God's will together. First, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Now, let us approach the throne of grace with confidence in Jesus' name.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### in his unspoken requests. Lord, You know the depths of his heart and the details of his needs. We pray that You will work all things together for his good, according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
We ask, Father, that You will grant him the petitions of his heart, as long as they align with Your will. Give him the wisdom to discern Your will and the strength to follow it (James 1:5 WEB).
If there is any area in his requests that you are not happy with Father, please use this time to convict him of any sin or emotionally unhealthy behaviors. In putting away any issues, we ask that you grant repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 2:25 WEB). Help him find Godly sorrow to allow him to turn to you. We know you allow suffering, so allow it to complete in him the work that it is meant to. Allow a Godly sorrow to lead him to you that will bring salvation to him. Use this time to allow him to be forgiven, made clean, and born again. Please also do not allow him to rely on himself through the flesh. Without you we know we can do nothing. Lord cause him to entirely depend on you and not this world.
We also pray that he will be steadfast in prayer, always seeking Your face and trusting in Your goodness (1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB).
Father, we ask that You will fill him with Your peace, knowing that You hear his prayers and will answer according to Your perfect plan (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Lastly, we pray that he will know that Your ways are higher than his ways, and Your thoughts higher than his thoughts. He is allowing you to answer his prayer. He is not telling you how to answer his prayer but he is willing to trust you in this time on the requests. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, our ###, that God is faithful and He cares for you. Continue to seek Him with all your heart, and trust that He is working everything out for your good. If you are not in a right relationship with the Lord, fix it with fervor. Always be prepared to share your relationship with the Lord to others. You never know when you will end up in the presence of the Lord and we will want to have as many believers with us as possible. Continue in faith.
If you can write out or explain more about your requests, it will help us better guide you in God's Word. We look forward to praying with you in further detail.
