We are here to lift you up in prayer and to encourage you in your walk with the Lord. Although you have not specified your prayer requests, we trust that God knows every detail and need. We want to remind you that it is important to make your requests known to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As scripture says in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is also the only access we have to eternal life as mentioned in John 3:17-18 WEB, "For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already." So let's pray together:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother or sister in their unspoken requests. You know the depths of their heart and the details of their needs. We pray that You will grant them the desires of their heart according to Your will.
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual growth. Help them to trust in You completely and to rest in Your promises.
Give them Your biblical discernment, wisdom according to James 1:5 WEB: But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.", and strength to walk in Your ways, and use Your decrees as the roadmap.
In Jesus Christ name, we pray", ending our prayer with the following reference to 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.". Reminding us He does not want you to worry about anything but pray about everything.
Amen. Again in Jesus name.
Be encouraged, dear friend. God hears your prayers and He cares for you deeply. Trust in His love and faithfulness as you wait on Him. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB of how we are to Pray in the name of Jesus, rather than leaving the words out & wondering why prayer has not been answered. ", "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
So we encourage you not leave by saying "I hope my prayers are answered, but instead be Biblical and finish with "In Jesus Name"
