We are here to lift you up in prayer and to seek God's will together.
First, we would like to remind you that it is very important to be able to say and pray about what you need. It is best to be able to speak them, think them, and pray them. Unspoken prayer should be avoided if the prayer is for you. It is not right to pray to God without believing you can pray and ask of him, by faith, for your requests. God absolutely knows your requests, but He wants you to be able to ask by faith.
Matthew 7:7 WEB asks us, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you."
1 John 5:14-15 WEB tells us, 'This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.'
Therefore, we encourage and challenge you to take a step of faith and to express your prayer request. So we can pray with you, to our Father, at the throne of grace.
James tells us, 'You ask and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.' James 4:3 WEB. In fact let's properly repent is anything is hindering our prayers. There may be some things in your life such as unconfessed and unforsaken sin is hindering your prayers. Let's take a moment to repent of them right now.
'Dear Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus Christ. I ask you to please forgive me and deliver me from all sins, in thought word or deed, in secret or openly, against you or against a brother. Your word tells me in James 5:16 "You shall confess your sins to one another and you shall pray for one another that you may be healed." I choose to obey your word right now according to James 5:16 and 1 John 1:9. I do not want any sin between you and me. Please wash me anew and I thank you that the blood of Jesus is cleansing me now as I ask for forgiveness in Jesus name.'
Let's pray together:
Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister. We ask that You reveal any unconfessed sin in her life that may be hindering her prayers, and grant her the grace to repent and turn away from it. We pray that You grant her the boldness and faith to express her needs and desires to You, trusting in Your goodness and love. Also, we ask that she can always say IJN at the end of her prayer requests.
We ask that Your will be done in her life and that You guide her in all wisdom and knowledge. We pray that she would not be anxious about her requests, but that she would trust in You with all her heart, leaning not on her own understanding. We ask that You align her desires with Your perfect will and that she brings her requests before you. We pray that her faith will be strengthened, knowing that she is always with You and You are always with her.
We trust Jesus Christ as her redeemer and both know that Jesus is the one mediator between God and man. We therefore hopefully await the the righteous gift of having her explicit requests. In Jesus' name, I pray.
