We understand your concern for your son and his family, and we are here to pray and offer biblical encouragement during this challenging time.
Let us first address the issue of anxiety and trust in God. In Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that your son will cast all his anxieties on the Lord, knowing that He cares for him (1 Peter 5:7).
Regarding his job, we pray that God will open doors for him to find a well-paid job that will provide for his family. In Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB) Jesus says, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?'... But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We pray that your son will prioritize seeking God's will in his life, trusting that God will meet all his needs.
Concerning his marriage, we pray that this trial will strengthen their bond and that they will support each other in love and unity. In Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (WEB) it is said, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." We pray that they will stand together in this challenging time, uplifting each other and growing stronger in their commitment.
Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace. In John 14:6 (WEB) Jesus declares, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage your son to place his trust in Jesus, knowing that He is faithful and will never forsake him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is in need of Your intervention. We ask that You provide him with a good job that will meet the needs of his family. Help him to trust in You and not be anxious about the future. Strengthen his marriage and let this trial be an opportunity for them to grow closer together and to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
