We understand your concern for your relationship with Denis, and we're here to pray and offer biblical guidance with you.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God's design for relationships is holy and pure. If Denis is not yet your spouse, we pray that your relationship will be one that honors God and is moving towards the covenant of marriage, as Hebrew 13:4 (WEB) tells us, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
Regarding Denis' fear and anger issues, we are reminded of 2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB), which says, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." And in Ephesians 4:26-27 (WEB), we're advised, "Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil."
Let's pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for Chemthey and Denis. We ask that You remove any fear Denis has in his heart and replace it with Your perfect love, as Your perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18, WEB). Help him to see Chemthey as a blessing and not a threat.
Lord, we also ask for Your help with Denis' anger issues. May he find self-control and patience, and may your Holy Spirit guide him in managing his anger in a way that honors You. Help them to communicate sweetly, with kindness, humility, and understanding, as Colossians 3:12-14 (WEB) encourages us.
Lord Jesus, we know that it's through Your name alone that we can come to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). If Chemthey and Denis have not already, we pray that they both come to know You as their personal Savior.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Chemthey, we encourage you both to seek God wholeheartedly, to trust in Him, and to strive for a relationship that pleases Him. If there are any sinful behaviors or thought patterns, we urge you both to repent and turn away from them. Remember, God is faithful and just to forgive our sins when we confess them (1 John 1:9, WEB). Keep your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for He is the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB).
