Whiprad, let's bring your co-workers before the Lord in prayer, acknowledging His goodness and sovereignty over all things. It's wonderful to see you interceding for them, as the Bible tells us to pray for all people (1 Timothy 2:1). Praying for protection and blessing is needed with working with others. Remember, courtesy and kindness are natural or common gifts, but are also fruits of the Holy Spirit. .
Firstly, let's pray for their salvation. We don't know the state of their hearts, as that is between each of them and God. We know that It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God or to other spiritual blessings. (Ephesians 2:18, 1 Corinthians 1:2, Acts 2:38). There is no other name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12).
Let us say that your coworkers believe in Jesus. Let's thank God for their faith that is why scripture says.
Because the grace that was given to you in Christ Jesus, that in all things you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge; even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: so that you come behind in no gift; waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ; who shall also confirm you to the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. (1 Corinthians 1:4-9)
Now as we go forward, let's remember that Jesus says the way to God and the spiritual blessings in life. No where in scripture is there a promise to grant spiritual things to those who are just courteous. So it is important to remember the words of Romans 5:8. But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8). So courteous spirit or otherwise God loves human beings and sent His son to die for us.
Now with this understanding let's pray.
Heavenly Father, we lift up Whiprad's coworkers to You, thanking You for their kindness and courtesy. We pray that You would protect them. Let us continue praying for them to come to truly know you and confess with their own mouths that Jesus is Lord. (Romans 10:9). Lord, please judge the motives and intentions of all involved. If wicked motives or idolations are even in our own hearts, please show us so that we may repent of them. (1 Corinthians 10:13-14). All through the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, our King, and our Saviour. Amen!
Continue to be a light and witness to your coworkers. Show them not just courtesy but also the love of Christ. Let us pray for those demonstrating courtesy that it may become part of a changed heart and new life.(John 13:34-35, Galatians 5:22-23).
