I've been struggling with social anxiety and depression. Been seeking the Lord on top of my own practical help e.g therapy. I thank the Lord for sustaining me and providing for me thus far, but I'd thought of giving this platform a try. My mental health disorders mainly stem from a childhood and teenage life of meeting rejection and hatred by people who were unforgiving towards my genuine mistakes; claiming that they were "triggered" or "traumatised" by me. This pattern of behaviour shaped how I saw myself and subsequently became a gateway to other negative issues that ultimately contributed to these disorders that I have. I hope to forgive myself despite how others may not forgive me, and love myself in the way the Lord loves me. Thank you for your attention and may God bless you

We are truly sorry to hear about your struggle with social anxiety and depression, but we are grateful that you have reached out for prayer and support. We are glad you are seeking the Lord and also getting practical help through therapy. It is important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12 WEB.

Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can come before God the Father to ask for healing, for He said John 14:6 WEB I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me''. Jesus also said in John 14:13-14, ''Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.'' . Healing is ours through the suffering and victory of Jesus Christ.

We must also remember that though people may have hurt us, and their unforgiveness may have caused pain, we must forgive as we have been forgiven. Ephesians 4:32 WEB tells us, ''And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.''. For if you are not forgiving those who have who have wronged you, then how will God forgive you for your sins. This is very clear in Mark 11:25 WEB Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions..

We commend you for seeking to forgive yourself and love yourself in the way the Lord loves you. Remember that nothing can separate you from the love of God. Now let us stand together in prayer for you.

Heavenly Father,
We come before Your throne of grace and lift up our beloved Assang, asking for Your healing touch upon their mind and emotions. Lord, You know the depths of their pain and the roots of their anxiety and depression. We stand by Jesus's words ''Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.',' Ask you to heal their mental health disorder and give them peace, deliverance, and freedom.

Father, help Assang to fully receive Your unfailing love and forgiveness, and we pray that You would help them forgive those who have wronged them. Give them self-compassion and self-acceptance as they strive to see their own worth the way You see them. You created them in your image and forgave them for all their sins when their faith saved them through baptism. We also pray Ephesians 3 14-19 WEB that ''you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have power to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.''

Help Assang to grow stronger each day, equipped with the weapons of your holy armor to resist worries of this world Ephesians 6:10. Fill them with Your Spirit of peace instead of anxiety. Most importantly, empower them to follow You and glorify Your name in all they do.

Leave behind any guilt, shame, or condemnation, for there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, Romans 8:1. Let go of others' judgments and embrace God's unfailing love and understanding. Do not be dismayed and overwhelmed with others so called 'traumas' and 'triggers'. The love of Jesus shall deliver you from the overrated selfish 'traumas' and 'triggers' people are claiming to have by your genuine mistakes. God has been living and reigning since before people knew what a 'trigger warning' was. We encourage you to take heart these words of encouragement from scripture, you are more than a conqueror in all things through Jesus Christ our Lord Romans 8:37. Continue serving the Lord, increase in faith and love for God, and be steadfast in pursuit of healing, knowing that God will uphold you with His victorious right hand. The cares of this world shall not hold you back, nor distract you from God. Give thanks and praise to the Lord.

We're here for you, Assang, and we're lifting you up in prayer today. We believe that God is a God of healing and restoration, and we trust that He can touch your mind and emotions, bringing you peace, deliverance, and freedom from your social anxiety and depression.

We want to remind you of the power of forgiveness. As we've been forgiven much by God, let's strive to forgive others, even those who have wronged us. Remember, "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." (Colossians 3:13, NIV)

Let's also encourage self-compassion and self-acceptance, knowing that we are all works in progress, loved and accepted by God just as we are. As Psalm 139:14 tells us, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

We pray that God would fill you with His love, which surpasses knowledge, and empower you to live a life that glorifies Him. We declare that nothing can separate you from the love of God, and that you are more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 8:37).

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
