"Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't deal treacherously." (KJV Mal 2:16 Be careful of treachery and break faith in your marriages)
It's essential to understand that God's will is for marriages to be reconciled and restored. In 1 Corinthians 7:10-11, the Apostle Paul instructs: "But to the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, that the wife not depart from her husband (but and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife."
Regarding your husband's desire to draw closer to Jesus, it's important to encourage him in his spiritual journey. However, his decision should not lead to the dissolution of your marriage. Instead, he should strive to be a godly husband, as described in Ephesians 5:25-28 and fill his wife's love tank.
Addressing his response is also a concern. The scriptures are clear that husbands are supposed to love their wives like Jesus loved the church. Ephesians 5:25-28 reads:
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; 26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, 27 that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
Husbands are also to dwell with their wives according to knowledge, giving honor as also fellow heirs of the grace of life (I Peter 3:7).
Therefore, he is doing is completely opposite of what a husband should be doing. Therefore, he is dishonoring God. God can not and will not bless him while he is doing this. Instead he will be chastised like a son that refuses correction. David wrote: We are being chastized by God to whom the Father chastises I John 4:19-24.
He needs to be encouraged to forgive you for not having a house.
Your living situation is indeed challenging in a car. As your husband has made a decision not to get housing, he is not only subjecting himself to hardship, but also his wife whom he is suppose to honor and love. You should continue to work and try to get in a home. Try to the best of your ability to do this on your own, even with your husband's restrictions, trust God on this.
You should also seek godly counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian mentor to help you navigate this trial in your marriage. It's essential to have support from fellow believers during this time. In Luke 7:In Luke 7:40-46 is the parable of the creditor and two debtors. After Jesus forgave her sins, Jesus rebukes Simon in the parable of the two debtors showing that love is the result of forgiveness of sins. Hopefully, your husband will come around, forgive you, love you, and work with you to find a solution.

We pray that You would cause their marriage to be resurrected from pain and brokenness and fill it with your love and forgiveness in Jesus name.
We rebuke the enemy that is destroying their marriage in Jesus name. We pray Father God that You would establish a hedge of protection around their marriage in Jesus name.
Lord Jesus, we pray that You would bring healing to their relationship and a miracle of forgiveness. Remind her husband that You have forgiven his sins, and so must he forgive his sins.
Father God, cause him to remember how You have forgiven his sins that he would forgive and honor his wife as Your Word instructs in Jesus name.
We pray ### will have the strength in the Holy Spirit to resist her husband's desire for divorce and that their marriage would be restored and resurrected from the pit of divorce, and filled with love and forgiveness in Jesus name.
We pray for a miracle in Jesus name, their hearts would be softened and turned to You, and their marriage would be salvaged and restored.
We pray that You would heal and change her husband's heart, fill it with Your mercy and forgiveness in Jesus name. Click your heels and do a miracle that will resurrect this marriage from pain and divorce in Jesus name!"
