We understand that you're going through a challenging time, CJL80, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. First, we want to assure you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
We will pray for your situation, but we also want to address something important. You mentioned that you hope R doesn't find out what you did. We want to encourage you to walk in honesty and integrity, as God desires truth in our inward parts (Psalm 51:6). Keeping secrets can lead to further complications and prevent the work that God wants to do in your life and relationship.
Remember what it says in Ephesians 4:25, "Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another." If you have done something that you feel needs to be hidden, consider the power of confession and repentance. Jesus said, "Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:16)
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up CJL80. They are going through a difficult time right now, and we ask for Your divine protection and guidance. Help them to walk in truth and integrity, and if there is anything that needs to be confessed, give them the strength and courage to do so. Prevent anything from escalating and guide them through this situation unharmed. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to examine your actions, pray for guidance, read scripture, and do what seems right before God. Communicating with R honestly could very well stop any prayer for R not to find out what you did.
