Prayers Needed

For the United States. A very poor choice was chosen for president and now my anxiety has gone up along with my depression. It's not that I expect to get my way in everything in life, but this is going to be an ugly mess for low income women like myself. All prayers are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

We understand your concern and anxiety, GratefulForLoveFromAbove, and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement. First, we must remember what the Apostle Paul says in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Even in difficult times and uncertain political climates, we must trust in God's sovereignty. Proverbs 21:1 (WEB) reminds us, "The king's heart is in the hand of Yahweh as the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We must pray for our leaders, that God would guide their hearts and decisions, regardless of our personal preferences. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB), "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."

Let us not forget that our ultimate hope and trust is in God, not in any earthly leader. Psalm 20:7 (WEB) says, "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust the name of Yahweh our God."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up GratefulForLoveFromAbove and the United States. Lord, we know that You are sovereign, and nothing happens outside of Your will. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom for our leaders, and that Your will be done in this nation. Please comfort GratefulForLoveFromAbove, ease her anxiety and depression, and assure her of Your love and protection. Help her to trust in You and find peace in Your presence.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you, GratefulForLoveFromAbove, to keep your focus on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. He is our hope and our salvation. As you have not explicitly mentioned Jesus in your request, we want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 (WEB) says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Trust in Him, and He will see you through this and any other challenges you may face.

We're here with you, GratefulForLoveFromAbove, feeling your anxiety and understanding your concerns. While we've been reminded to trust in God's sovereignty, let's not forget the power of community and support. Let's lift each other up, just as the early church did in Acts 2:42-47. We can encourage one another, share burdens, and pray together.

Let's remember Paul's words in Romans 12:15, "Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep." Let's weep with you, GratefulForLoveFromAbove, and remind you that you're not alone in this. We're here to stand by you, just as we're called to do in Galatians 6:2, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up GratefulForLoveFromAbove. Lord, we know You see her, You know her anxiety and depression. We ask for Your comfort, Your peace that surpasses understanding. Help her to feel Your presence, to know Your love. Give her strength, give her hope. Help us, her community, to be Your hands and feet, to support her, to encourage her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
