Hi all! I am just now getting back into my religion, I went to church this morning to pray. Me and my ex are going on ### years in April, he is breaking up with me because I have changed. I have been having a bad attitude and I am always bringing up the past, I need help. I want to give him the happiness he deserves, he is a great man. He pays all the bills at home and makes sure I am happy and safe always. I truly love him and don’t want to lose him because I am not ok myself. I want to give him some space but I want to assure he will come back to me and allow me to come back home. I am currently sleeping on the couch of my mother’s home, I am just trying to stay calm in this situation. I want nothing more than him to say everything’s ok and we can keep trying, but as of rn he is not saying that. He has said he doesn’t know what the future holds but rn he just wants to be left alone bc he gave me everything and he kept telling me to change and I wouldn’t change. Ik it’s messed up to say but I am ready to change now and maybe with y’all’s prayers yall can help me to change. I need help! Anything I can do I am doing. I went to my first church mass in about ### years today, and I may go again tmr just to pray. I want this relationship more than anything else I want in life. If I had nothing at all I’d hope I still had him. Thank you lord And in Jesus Christ’s name I pray🙏🙏🙏

We understand that you're going through a difficult time with your former boyfriend, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. First, we want to commend you for returning to church and seeking God in this situation. It's crucial to remember that God should be at the center of our lives and relationships.

Firstly, we need to address that the Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality and that the only place for sexual relations is inside marriage. We don't know if this is occurring but it needs to be address if so.

1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."

1 Corinthians 7:2 WEB "But because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband."

Also, the Bible teaches that we should be equally yoked in our relationships, meaning that we should be united in our faith and spiritual beliefs.

2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"

As you seek to reconcile this relationship, it's important to focus on your personal growth and spiritual well-being. Change comes from within, and it starts with a willing heart. It's encouraging to hear that you're ready to change, and we believe that God will honor your efforts as you draw near to Him. Also, you need to be aware of the importance of a relationship with a man being a courtship where marriage is the goal.

We need to address the fact that you said you will pray in Jesus Christ's name but then asked if you should. Remember, we are only able to get to God because of what Jesus did on the cross.

John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We encourage you to pray and study the Bible, seeking God's will for your life and this relationship. Remember that God's timing is perfect, and He hears your prayers. We also recommend that you seek godly counsel, such as from a pastor or a trusted Christian mentor, to help you navigate this situation.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up ### in prayer. We ask for Your comfort and guidance during this difficult time. Help her to draw near to You, and to trust in Your perfect plan for her life. We pray for her ex-boyfriend, that Your will be done in his life and that You would soften his heart. We ask that You would help ### to grow spiritually, and to become the woman that You have called her to be. We pray that Your will be done in this situation, and that You would bring healing and restoration where needed. We also rebuke ### for living together and possibly having sexual relations outside of marriage. We pray this all in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying, studying the Bible, and seeking God's will. Remember that God loves you and has a plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths. Also, make sure to reach out to a church that can better instruct you in the faith and baptism.

Hey there,

We're here with you, praying alongside you as you navigate this tough situation with your ex-boyfriend. It's great to hear that you're seeking God in all this, and we want to encourage you to keep pressing on.

We understand that you're hurting, and it's natural to want him back. But remember, God's got a plan, and His ways are always best. We're not sure about the details of your relationship, but we want to remind you that God's word teaches us to honor marriage and avoid sexual immorality (Hebrews 13:4). If there's anything in your past that needs to be addressed, now is the time to do it, with God's help.

We're also here to encourage you to keep changing. You've taken a great step by deciding to change, and we believe that God will honor that. Keep seeking Him, and let Him mold you into the woman He wants you to be.

Now, about praying in Jesus' name. We believe that Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and that salvation comes through Him alone (Acts 4:12). So, when you pray, you can be confident that you're praying in the name that's above every name (Philippians 2:9).

Keep praying, keep seeking God's will, and trust that He's working things out for your good (Romans 8:28). And hey, if you need someone to talk to, we're here. Just reach out.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for Your comfort and guidance for our sister. Help her to trust in You, and to follow Your perfect plan for her life. We pray for her ex-boyfriend, that You would soften his heart and draw him to You. Help her to grow spiritually, and to become the woman You've called her to be. We pray this all in Jesus' name. Amen."

We continue to feel honored that you have given us the privilege to pray with you and stand in agreement with you in your time of need. We are truly glad that you reached out to us and allowed us to join you in prayer.

As it has been several days since your initial request, we would love to hear an update on your situation. If God has answered your prayer and you and your ex-boyfriend have reconciled, we would be thrilled to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a great encouragement to others who are also seeking God's intervention in their relationships.

If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, we want to assure you that we are still here for you. We invite you to post your prayer request again as a new request. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that God is working in your situation, even if it is not evident just yet.

Remember, God's timing is not always our timing, and He often uses waiting periods to draw us closer to Him and prepare us for the blessings He has in store. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep praying. We are here to support you every step of the way.

We pray that God will bless you and give you His peace as you continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ. May you feel His love and presence in your life, and may He guide you and your ex-boyfriend according to His will. We pray this in Jesus Name.
