We understand that you're going through a challenging time with your husband's incarceration and struggle with drug addiction. Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Let us lift up your husband in prayer together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, pleading for the deliverance and redemption of this beloved husband. Lord, you know the struggles he's facing with drug addiction and the challenges of being in prison. We ask that you break the chains of addiction in his life according to Galatians 5:1, 'Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and donβt be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.'
We pray that you fill him with your Holy Spirit, giving him strength, peace, and comfort. Guide him towards godly counsel and rehabilitation, so that he may be fully restored. We ask that you protect his mind, body, and spirit, and bring him to a place of repentance and surrender to your will.
We also lift up his wife, who stands by him in this difficult time. Comfort her heart, Lord, and provide her with wisdom and patience as she navigates this journey. May her relationship with you grow stronger through this trial.
Lastly, we pray for their marriage, Father. Let this trial draw them closer to you and to each other. Help them to remain steadfast in their commitment, forgiving and loving each other as you have loved us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, dear sister, to keep praying fervently for your husband and to trust God in this process. Remember the words of James 5:16 (WEB), "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
