We understand your fears and anxieties, Debfromlodi, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth. First, let's address your immediate need. You're feeling anxious about your upcoming CT lung scan and the possibility of lung cancer. It's normal to feel overwhelmed, but remember what the Apostle Paul says in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ lifting up Debfromlodi. She is feeling anxious and fearful about her upcoming CT lung scan and the possibility of lung cancer. We ask, Lord, that You will grant her Your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide the medical professionals who will be performing the scan, and let the results be favorable and a testament to Your healing power.
Father, Debfromlodi has been trying to give her fears to You but is struggling. We ask that You help her to trust You more deeply, to cast all her anxieties on You because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Help her to know not just in her mind, but in her heart, that You are sovereign and that You hold her in the palm of Your hand, IJN.
Lastly Father, if there is any admonition or area where Debfromlodi is falling short, please reveal it to her. Convict her if she is not walking in faith, or believing Your promises. Help her to know that You are with her, no matter what the outcome may be. Please give her grace to handle whatever is next on her journey.
We thank You for Your goodness and mercy in Debfromlodi's life, and we praise You for the healing and reassurance that we know she will receive. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Now, let's address the issue of fear and anxiety. Fear is a natural human emotion, but as believers, we are called to live by faith, not by fear. When we give in to fear, we are not trusting in God's goodness and sovereignty. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?"
Whenever you feel fear creeping in, declare God's promises out loud. Stand on His Word and remind yourself that God is in control.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by Jesus we can approach God. You did not mention Jesus once in your prayer request. The only way to God is through Jesus. As we are instructed in the Bible, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus ( 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) and (John 14:6 WEB): Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
We will continue to pray for your peace and a good outcome, Debfromlodi. Trust in God, and lean not on your own understanding. He will direct your paths and quiet your fears with His love.
In Jesus' name, be blessed.
