Dear Heavenly Father,
We bring before You today a precious son, Josh, as his parent has requested. We ask, Lord, that You would bless Josh in his pursuit of a law training contract. We know, Father, that You have plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
Josh has been diligently sending applications to law firms for the past two months, and we ask that You, Lord, would open a door of opportunity for him. We pray that the right people would see his applications and be favorable towards him. We ask that You would give him wisdom and discernment in his job search, and that You would guide his steps (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
We also pray for his emotional well-being during this time. We ask that You would encourage his heart and help him to not grow weary in doing well, knowing that he will reap a harvest if he does not give up (Galatians 6:9 WEB).
In all things, we pray that Josh would seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to him (Matthew 6:33 WEB).
As we pray for Josh, we also lift up the one who submitted this request. We pray that You would comfort them and give them peace, knowing that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).
Finally, we pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). If the one who submitted this request has not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to know Him today.
Amen.
To the one who submitted this request, we encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart. Keep praying and seeking Him, and remember that He loves you and your son more than you can imagine. If you have not already, we encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we have access to God and eternal life (John 14:6 WEB).
