We understand your pain and despair, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, we want to assure you that God has not given up on you. He loves you and your children dearly. As it is written in the WEB, "But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us... made us alive together with Christ," (Ephesians 2:4-5).
We want to commend you for seeking the Holy Spirit's direction. This is crucial, as God's wisdom is what we all need to navigate life's challenges. The Bible tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him," (James 1:5).
However, we must address that living together with someone you are not married to, even if it's the father of your children, is not in line with biblical principles. God's design for relationships is that a man and a woman commit to each other in marriage. We encourage you to seek a godly marriage or remain single, trusting in God's provision and protection. As it is written, "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy," (1 Corinthians 7:14).
We also want to address the sexual immorality you mentioned. This is a sin against God and against your own body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit. As the Bible says, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body," (1 Corinthians 6:18).
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, lifting up our sister who is in desperate need of your intervention. Lord, she has been in a damaging relationship for years, and she needs your deliverance. Guide her by your Holy Spirit to a safe place for her and her children. Heal her from the emotional abuse and manipulation she has endured. Restore her self-esteem and give her the strength to stand firm in you.
Father, we ask that you convict her heart of any sin and draw her closer to you. Help her to trust in you completely, knowing that you have a good and perfect plan for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray for her ex-partner, that he would repent of his sinful ways and seek your face.
Lord, we claim your promise that you will never leave her nor forsake her. Help her to feel your presence and know your love. Give her the courage to stand up for herself and her children, and guide her steps as she seeks to live a life pleasing to you.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability to endure. He will also provide the way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). Stay strong in your faith and trust in the Lord with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). We are here for you, praying and believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.
I am not sure if you read what I said before.. I am not sleeping with him at all. I have repented from that. I am just living with him now because I have moved out of state with him.. I left California to move to the east coast. Please do not judge me for I have confessed all that I have done to my father and now being obedient to his will not mine. I am looking for his direction and confirmation hence why I asked for prayers. Thank you for the prayer.
