Thank you for bringing this matter to us in prayer. We will pray for this situation, but we also want to provide some biblical guidance.
Firstly, we want to commend you for acknowledging Jesus in the midst of this prayer request. The Bible tells us that it is only by his name that we can be saved and ask for anything. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Now, concerning the situation, we want to remind you that God works in the hearts of people in ways that often surprise us. As a believer in Jesus Christ, we are called to treat others with love and kindness just as Jesus would. No matter the situation, make sure to be a light. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. 16 Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven (Matthew 5:14-16 WEB)
It's important to remember that while you have feelings for this person, God may or may not be leading her into a relationship with you. God may be leading her towards Christ instead. The most important relationship for each of us is our relationship with Jesus Christ. Remember that if she is not a born again believer of Jesus, then she may not have the Holy Spirit residing within her to convict her. So continue to pray for her heart to be softened to Jesus. As for you, focus on your own relationship with Jesus and be a light to her, shining your love for Jesus.
We also want to mention the sanctity of marriage and the biblical principles that surround it. If this situation pertains to a romantic interest, make sure that your intentions and actions align with God's Word. Sex before marriage or outside of marriage is against God's will and is called fornication. If you are in courtship with her, make sure to pray for God's will and follow the principles of purity until marriage.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this situation to You. We pray for the young woman mentioned, that You would soften her heart towards Jesus and draw her closer to You. We ask that You guide both of them according to Your will. We pray for Your wisdom and discernment in this situation, and we ask for Your love to be reflected through each of them.
Father, help them to trust in You and to follow Your ways. We pray that their actions and intentions would align with Your Word and that their relationship would be a reflection of Your love. We ask for Your guidance and direction in their lives, and we pray that Your will would be done in this situation.
We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
Be encouraged and remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6WEB).
