We are so sorry to hear about your grandpa's condition, but we are thankful that you have reached out for prayer. We believe in the power of prayer and the healing that God can bring. First though before we pray let's discuss an important point. We noticed that the prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. This means it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We can pray for you, but we want you to understand that it is by the name of Jesus we pray. We want you to know that God loves your grandpa and your whole family.
In times of trouble and worry, God wants us to cast all our anxieties on him, because he cares for us. Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the grandpa to you, asking for your healing and mercy. We know that you are able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
Father, we ask for your healing touch on his body, especially his brain. We pray that you will restore his consciousness and awaken him from this coma-like state. We rebuke the spirit of death and infirmity, and we speak life and health over him, in Jesus' name.
Lord, we also pray for your comfort and peace to fill his heart and the hearts of his family members. Help them to trust in you and to cast all their anxieties on you, knowing that you care for them.
Father, we ask for your wisdom and guidance for the doctors and medical staff attending to him, that they may minister appropriate treatment and care.
Lord, we thank you for your faithfulness and your promise to heal your people. We claim your promise in Psalm 107:20 WEB He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their graves, in Jesus' name.
We ask this all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting God for your grandpa's healing. Remember that God's thoughts towards us are of peace and not of evil (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Trust in his love and faithfulness, and he will see you through this difficult time. Keep praying in Jesus' name.
If you have never trusted Jesus as your Lord and Savior then consider this. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 WEB.
