We are truly saddened to hear about the stroke and we are with you in praying for her complete healing and recovery. We know that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. We know that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ we can approach God. It is only by Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved sister in Christ who has recently suffered a stroke. We pray for Your healing touch upon her body, mind, and spirit. Lord, You know every detail of her situation and we trust that You are working all things together for her good and Your glory.
Father, we ask that You guide the medical professionals who are caring for her, giving them wisdom and skill to provide the best treatment possible. We pray for her complete recovery, that she may regain her strength and health, and be able to return to her daily activities with renewed vigor.
We also lift up her need to lose weight, Father. We pray that You would guide her in making healthy choices and give her the strength and discipline to follow through. We ask that You would help her to get plenty of rest, that her body may be restored and renewed.
Lord, we thank You for all that You do for us. We thank You for Your faithfulness, Your love, and Your never-ending mercy. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you both to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We encourage this dear sister to meditate on God's Word, and to trust in His promises for her life.
We also encourage you both to be mindful of your diet and lifestyle, as our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. We should honor God with our bodies, and take care of them as best as we can. Remember that physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
Lastly, we want to encourage you both to continue praying and seeking God's face together. There is power in agreement and we believe that as you both stand in faith and believe God for complete healing and recovery, that you will see the manifestation of His promises in your lives.
