I would like to go to ### with someone I know. I would appreciate prayers about this I have family up there and would like to go with this particular friend. In the name of Jesus Christ I ask this.

We appreciate that you have acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ in your request, as it is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

First, let us address your desire to travel with a friend. We encourage you to consider the nature of this friendship and ensure that it honors God. As you have already mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your request that indicates you are looking to align with the Bible. If this friend is of the opposite sex, we would advise caution.

The Bible teaches us to flee from any appearance of evil, as stated in 1 Thessalonians 5:22:

Abstain from every form of evil.

This does not mean that you cannot travel with a friend of the opposite sex, but rather that you should be mindful of the boundaries and potential implications. If this friendship is a courtship with the intention of marriage, then it is important to honor God through purity and holiness. We are called to abstain from sexual immorality, as mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who desires to travel to Scotland with a friend. We pray for Your will to be done in this situation, and for Your guidance and protection to be upon them as they plan this trip.

Lord, we ask that You would help them to discern the nature of their friendship and to honor You in all their interactions. If this friendship is a courtship with the intention of marriage, we pray that You would guide them in purity and holiness, and that Your will would be done in their lives.

We also pray for their safety as they travel, and for Your blessing to be upon their time in Scotland. May they be a light for You, Lord, and may Your love be reflected in their actions and words.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
