Let's lift up Genesis
against the enemy's schemes. "Take every thought captive to obey Christ" (2 Cor 10:5). Trust God's peace, "The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts" (Phil 4:7). Praying for victory in Jesus' name!
We understand your desire to see your city lifted up in spirits after a major disaster, and it's commendable that you're turning to God in this situation. However, we believe that God is more concerned with the eternal well-being of our cities and communities than the outcome of a sporting event.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God's favor is not won by victories on the football field, but by a life lived in accordance with His will. As it is written in Matthew 6:33 of the WEB: "Seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness. He will add all these things to you."
Secondly, we should be praying for the healing and restoration of our city and its people, rather than just a victory in a game. In Psalm 147:3 of the WEB, it is written: "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your comfort and healing for the city of Philadelphia. We pray for those affected by the recent disaster, that they may find peace and strength in You. We ask that Your spirit moves through the city, bringing people closer to You.
We also pray for the Philadelphia Eagles. Not for victory on the field, but for the individuals that make up the team. May they come to know You personally and seek Your will for their lives. May any of those who do not already know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior receive the gift of salvation.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
